I visited the club on 3/3/11...

I visited the club on 3/3/11 at 4PM. This is my favorite Atlanta club on the south side. It ain't great but it beats the competition. Thanks to the new Forest Park ordinance the Crazy Horse and Pink Pony South are now both bikini clubs with virtualy no contact. Club Blaze, the Candy Store, & Pleasers Playhouse are black clubs with a ghetto atmosphere and high thug factor.

The Goldrush is more like a neighborhood bar with strippers. The crowd is mostly regulars. Prices are better than most clubs, $3.25 for a coke. 30 min VIP rooms with decent privacy for $35 and $100 to the dancer. Note they will try to soak you for another $20 to insure your dancer does not get called to the stage during your VIP trip. The manager and DJ split it. You can avoid this by simply waiting ubtil after the dancer of your choice does her turn on stage.

Dancers rate from 4-7 in appearance. Mostly they are fun to hang with. Half white & half black. Same with the customers.I do have a favorite here that always takes care of me. That is why I keep coming back. That and the north side clubs are an hour drive for me. Yes, I will be back.
