Visited Sparky's on a Tuesday afternoon....

Visited Sparky's on a Tuesday afternoon. I was not a member so had to pay my dues and fill out membership card. They took a copy of my license and said they shred it in a week once the membership card is complete. Stupid NC rules. Anyway, sat at the bar. I had a nice seat near the pool table with a nice view of the floor until some heavy guy stopped in with a big bag of Mcdonalds and proceeded to sit next to me, empty the bag and start eating. He must have been a regular as all the girls knew him. Anyway, between the blocked view, the stench of Mcdonalds I decided to move seats. Sat on the other side of the bar. Beers were pretty cheap which was good, a pool game got started with a little blonde hottie playing, so that view was nice, but the dance floor was dead. There were 5 or so dancer working the room, but only one on stage at any given time, and sometimes the floor was dead. No girls approached me, I guess I am not a regular, but that was fine, the only girl I was interested in was the one playing pool. I never managed to make it into the private room with a dancer as none approached me the entire hour I was there. I do have a shaved head and look somewhat young, so maybe I was mistaken for police, but hey, I deserve a shot at least. Anyway, the membership was like $2.00, beers were cheap, atmosphere was relaxed and somewhat nice, except for the slob eating his McDonalds at the bar. So other than not meeting any of the ladies, I had a nice cheap relaxing lunch break. I will probably go back as every place deserves a second chance, so hopefully more to report then. Rough now, I cannot recommend this place.
