I wandered in to kill a couple of hours after work and before an UT basketball game hoping to find my old friend and dancer Ivory. I found out that Ivory isn’t dancing at Expose anymore, only at the Landing Strip.

This appears to be a smaller place with a main stage and two small stages. They advertised $3 anything drinks and $10 dances outside, but I never got to sample either. There was no cover and no waitress met me at the door to seat me.

I struggled to figure out where to sit and be able to get a good view of as much of the club as possible. I finally sat down and started checking it out and expected a waitress to come by and mark her table ASAP. I looked around for a waitress, but didn’t see any for about five minutes and was going to go to the bar myself to get my own beer, when a 20 something spinner jumped into my lap. She wasn’t very pretty, had somewhat discolored teeth, and not a lot of boobs. She was friendly enough and complimented me on my suit and my cologne. We got acquainted and then she began to try to sell me a dance telling me how good it would be etc. I just wasn’t very attracted to her. I ducked the dance sale hoping she would leave me alone, but alas it is the end of the month and she’s desperate and won’t take no for an answer gently, so I leave and go down the street to eat Mexican food instead.
