Myself and seven of my buddies...

Myself and seven of my buddies attended the Gold Nugget Lounge after leaving Coyote Ugly on February 25, 2011around 11:00pm. We had rented a limo and got dropped off at the front door. We have been here many times in the past. The outside of club was remodeled a while back and looks pretty good. The parking lot was full and we could here the music as soon as we got out of the limo. A very friendly doorman who checked our IDs and put on our wristbands greeted us. The lady at the register took our $10 cover charge with a smile and wished us well. The inside of the club was really hopping but not over crowded. It was clean but the ceiling is a little low and the cigarette smoke was thick. The men’s room small but clean and attended by two of the funniest guys I have ever met in a bathroom.

We took our seats on the far side of the main stage next to the back wall. In addition to the main stage there are two “satellite” stages. The main stage and the longer of the two satellites each had two girls on them. The smaller stage only had one girl. All the staff we met were very polite. The waitresses were so attentive that I never made it to the bar. Drinks and beer were affordably priced. Bottled beer was $3.25 and I bought one of the dancers a Patron margarita which was $8.50.The waitresses worked very hard keeping everyone in drinks and keeping the tables clean. The bouncers were all very polite and well dressed. The crowd was a mixture of age groups but no thugs. There were several couples and even two tables of ladies out for a “girls night out. My only major complaint about the club itself was the DJ. He played mostly hip-hop with just a few rock songs mixed in. The volume was not too bad but it was a little on the loud side.

As for the ladies, there were at least twenty-five (maybe more) girls working. There were always five on stage with the remainder working the floor or giving private dances. Each set of girls stayed on stage for three songs and were all topless by the second song. There were a wide variety of girls working ranging (on a scale of 1-10) from 5 to 9 with most being in the 6 or 7 range. The age range was from eighteen to estimated late thirties with most being in their mid-twenties. Ethnicity was mostly white with a couple very attractive black girls and also a girl that looked to be mixed. I was approached a few times about private dances but never felt pressured. The girls were all smiles and very polite.
