I have been to Playmates once...

I have been to Playmates once every three or four months over the last 4 or 5 years when I am in town, and the last couple of times have seen the value really go down. When I arrived, there was a $10 cover that included a ginger ale (no liquor). There were two dancers there, and one was in the back getting ready to come out on stage. Playmates is somewhat hard to find, but once you know where it is, it is easy to get to. The inside has been redone in the past year or so and is fairly attractive. The lap dance rooms are not totally private, but are very comfortable.

The two dancers there this evening were not super attractive, but were nice to talk to. The younger girl (25-30?) gave a pretty good lap dance and the touchy-feely was pretty good. I got two dances for $20 each, with a $10 tip. The older girl (40-45?) gave a very good and complete(!) lap dance. I stayed for three lap dances ($20 each) with a $10 tip.

I was there for about an hour, and no other customer came in. There was also no on-stage dancing while I was there. When I am back in town, I will probably go back to Playmates, but I hope their business picks up a little.
