I, too, remember when Kenny May's...

I, too, remember when Kenny May's was among my favorite clubs in the Calumet Region -- back in the late '80s and early 90's. It's hard to imagine how it can be bad to have scantily clad ladies dancing in front of you in one of two oval-shaped areas -- but they manage to do so. I suppose their "management" vows not to put any money into the place, and they must not pay their girls any incentive to do a good job.

Back in the day, THIS was the place to be found in -- they had guest dancers, and a Friday or Saturday night after midnight would have dozens of customers surrounding the stage, with standing room only and three or four deep. The acts were great on the stage, and the many girls used to mingle quite freely among the crowd.

Then it all went away. I had been there just a few years ago and was disappointed -- hadn't been back until last Thursday for one last look. That look lasted perhaps less than 10 minutes. Unless I hear any better reviews, IS gets my money instead.
