I have to admit, my most recent trips to Scores have been disappointing. I feel like the value of the place has gone down some.

I'll admit, part of it was the night I chose to go this time around: The night before the Super Bowl. I've gone to Scores before and gotten dances from national touring dancers who have spent a night or weekend in Chicago. All of those dancers, and probably some of Scores' better talent, too, was probably in Dallas for the big game. Nonetheless, I'm from north of the border and, God bless the Packers, I wasn't in the mood to get dances from a girl in a 12 jersey with bad fake 'G' tats, so I made the trip down.

Another problem was the weather that week. There had been a ton of snow in the Midwest and, for some reason, when I went down, the club was inaccessible because there appeared to be city crews that had closed off the streets around the club to clear snow. I literally had to kill 90 minutes of time just driving around, getting a drink at the nearby Hooters, etc., and nearly decided to call the whole thing off before things finally opened up around midnight and I got in.
