I visited Ricks on a trip...

I visited Ricks on a trip to Washington/Oregon this week. I'm surprised it rates so highly here -- probably because the same 4 or 5 local guys have submitted so many duplicate reviews every other week. Comparing Ricks to other clubs around the country it rates poorly. I visited Wednesday 1-28-04 from 5 to 10 PM.

Atmosphere is not good. One huge empty-feeling room with lots of cheap tables and chairs. No bar area with seating. Also no standing allowed - must be seated in one of the cheap chairs. Bathroom is worst I've ever seen anywhere. This place makes the infamous "Outhouse" club in Kansas bathroom seem like a Hyatt Hotel.

No alcoholic beverages as per state law. And then you get burnt $6 (five plus one tip) for every coffee, coke, and O'Douls that you have. Why so much???
