I have some familiarity with the Pure Gold brand from visiting the location in Cary so I decided to give the Wilmington location a chance one late night. My expectations were low because I perceive the Cary club as going downhill fast (it is). I was pleasantly surprised here though.

The interior of the club is largely unremarkable but that was not why I stopped by anyway. There was a decent assortment of ladies and most were quite fit and friendly. I'm not much for dances on the floor, but got some decent contact. A couple of hotties were sitting with regulars unfortnuately so missed out on some of the primo talent. May be worth a return trip.

Mixed drinks were about what you expect - $5 or more depending on quality of liquor. My drinks were fairly strong. Not worth a road trip from any distance, but if in the area worth a peek.
