I visited The Palace this past...

I visited The Palace this past Saturday night, around Midnight and found that this club is broken into two separate sections...

If you go in the front door, you will find a full bar, large stage (with plenty of seating), and chairs/tables outlining the room. Upon entry, I was asked to pay a $3 Cover Charge. Only after I paid did I realize that the girls dancing in the front portion of the club are required to wear a minimum of a bikini top and thong. The club appears fairly clean, but definitely not modern. The girls are responsible for playing their own music on an old-school jukebox, which means there are no DJs. The service from the bartenders was absolutely atrocious...And when I finally did get my beer, it was a can of Bud Light that cost me $3.50. I later found that mixed drinks (or at least my Jack & Coke), were priced at $4. The lap dances were a reasonable $10 (plus tip), but were done out in the open, in front of everyone. But, out of the 6 girls who were working, there was only 1 who I would even consider getting a dance from...On a Saturday night, I would expect to see their A-Squad, but I what I saw was quite disappointing.

I then headed around to the back of the building. The entrance looks shady, and the story is the same once inside. A $15 cover charge got me in the door, where I found a small room, with a stage, and nothing else. That's all it is...1 small room, completely filled by a stage, with seats. The girls in the back of the club are fully nude, however...and a I'd say 2 out of the 6 were worth the money. The biggest drawback? They sell NO ALCOHOL in the back section of the club. They do, however, offer free water, soda, and O'Doul's. A lapdance cost me $15 per song, but was fully nude and done in a private back room. Frankly, this dance was well worth it, and I would definitely get a few more, IF I ever go back.
