I hadn’t been to the Lamplighter...

I hadn’t been to the Lamplighter in quite a while, and a favorite dancer from Foxy’s was doing fill-in last Saturday night, so I decided to stop by. It turned out my favorite wasn’t there and it wasn’t long before I was absent as well.

Unfortunately, nothing has changed at this club, except that perhaps the club is even seedier than before. Cracked vinyl on the seats, music so loud you can’t hear the girl shouting in your ear asking you for a dance, and I can’t believe the floors get cleaned more than once a month if that. I have never set foot in the restroom for fear of what I might find, and I’m not all that fastidious.

For all of that the dancers and staff appear to be nice people for the most part. The gal who serves up the soft drinks (it’s BYOB since the girls get nude) was very nice, as was the doorman. The girls, if they already have a guy who’s buying VIP’s, ignore you. If they haven’t found a generous guy, they act like they love you. It’s the same everywhere.
