Stopped at this club late afternoon...

Stopped at this club late afternoon on a Sunday in late January while driving through Indianapolis. Had read some okay reviews and thought it might be a good stop for a few beers and a couple of lap dances. Should have known just a few minutes after walking in that neither was a probability. Paid a $5 cover charge at the front door and immediately noticed a heavy smell of cigarette smoke. After hanging out mostly in clubs in Ohio have gotten acustomed to clean air and not going home smelling like an ashtray.

Club was dark, old and dirty furniture, small dance floor in center of room with a single pole. Private dance area was anything but with a half wall separating the main bar from a number of hard back chairs and round tables lined along the far wall.

Sat at the bar waiting for a drink for a good ten minutes before a dancer came up to sit with me. Offered to buy her a drink but told her that I was not able to track down a bartender to even get a drink for myself. She got up to tell the bartender at the other end of the bar what we wanted. Finally got our drinks after she finished her conversation with the other bartender and took one more drag of her cigarette. Dancer of course asked if it was okay if she smoked.
