This was my second time visitng the Landing Strip. I was staying at the Marriott at the airport and used the free shuttle service that is offered by the club. They picked me up less than 15 minutes after I called, which was great. Although a free service, I did tip the driver for both the ride to and from the club. For those who drive themself, there is valet service for $6 but can be avoided by parking on the street. You can print a coupon for a free door pass to avoid the normal $10 cover fee. You have to walk up a flight of stairs and enter the in the middle of the club. The staget is directly in front of you and is about 30 feet long. The bar is to the left and the DJ stand and men's room are to the right. There are plenty of booths and tables close to the stage, however, I sat at the bar. Beers were about $7-$8, which is pretty standard.

Now onto the girls. There were two girls on stage at all times, each dancing for about 3 or 4 songs each. There was a wide range of ages and experience levels to the dancers. Some were brand new with only a few weeks or months of experience while there were definitely some others that were in their late 30's or early 40's that had been doing this for 15-20 years. I was approached by several dancers throughout the night and I have to say, they were all very friendly and not very pushy and did not take offense when turning down their offers for dances. I finally found the girl I wanted - almost 6 feet tall with an amazing body. There was no additional charge for the VIP room. The VIP room was split into two areas, one has about 6 private rooms with curtains and then there is the back area that has semi-private booths (no curtains) - we used the semi-privat booths in the back. The dances were some of the best that I've ever had and easily the best I've had in the Detroit area. I would definitely go back to the Landing Strip and, in fact, I am counting down the days until my next business trip.
