Magic City is located just east...

Magic City is located just east of downtown Cleveland on St. Clair, about a 10 minute drive from downtown. St. Clair is a four-lane wide street and traffic is not a problem. Parking on the street is also not a problem but, as always, I have concerns about leaving my car in a neighborhood that is not the best. Magic City is basically an all black bar including both patrons, dancers, and bartenders. I am white so initially I felt a little out of place but soon relaxed because the atmosphere and the dancers seemed friendly. There is a long bar on the right as you enter, a single stage with seating for patrons on the left, and an area at the back with tables. Later I found that this area was sometimes referred to as the "corner." It's where the private lap dances occur.

I said there were 6-10 dancers on shift although some did not dance. They would stand at the back or along the bar. I sat down at the stage and watched several dancers and soon found that even though they were wearing basically bikinis some of the girls were showing more "skin" by briefly moving clothing to the side. The view was nice and the dancers were friendly and responsive to small talk. Obviously they were in "tease" mode and looking for someone to take them to the corner for a lap dance. Finally I found one I liked enough to take her up on the lap dance. We went back to the corner and what she gave me was indeed a true lap dance. She actually sat on my lap and allowed me to let my hands roam above her waist. The problem with the corner is that it is not very private so I did feel somewhat inhibited but the lap dance was very enjoyable. I stayed a little while longer and then left. It's not the best or worst place I've been in and the dancers were just so so but for value it was a bargain. I definitely plan on going back.
