This club is definitely a dive/thug...

This club is definitely a dive/thug hang out spot, but it's still a lot of fun. The cover is a bit steep but it's BYOB. There is also a bar, Hell, next door. Catwalk is open really late, till 5am some nights. This is great because you can head there after the bars are all closed. If you are looking for a classy, upscale place where you can relax among other business men wearing suits, then this club probably isn't for you. The vibe here is a bit like an episode of The Wire/Cheers (ghetto but comfy). The DJ is great if you are into hip hop. The stage is small, but so is the club. You get a good view even if you are not sitting by the tip rail. The club itself is a little warn in, but it's clean and the bartenders are very attentive. There are quite a few regulars who go here. I've never been to this club when it wasn't packed.

The house fee is very low and the club does not take a lot of the dancers' money. The dancers are all very friendly and cheerful. They don't have that "dead behind the eyes" look that a lot of girls have in other strip clubs. This club has great variety when it comes to the dancers. You can find everything from barely 18-looking thin, white, college girl types to thick, ride or die black chicks with booty to older, belly dancing Latinas. There are also quite a few "alternative" girls. The dancer hustle is not annoyingly aggressive. Despite the seedy atmosphere, I've never seen any extras go on here.
