I visited C-9 on a Monday around 8:00 PM. There was no cover charge at that time. I believe the cover charge starts between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. As noted below, the quality of the dancers varies a lot and you have to select the girl(s) you want to do private dances with very carefully.

The dances are out in the open (in the back), not very private and are $ 20 each. Use the dollar dances that are offered each hour (approximately on the hour) to pick your private dancer. It appears that only one bouncer is on duty until about 9:00 PM and he stays up front most of the time to monitor the front door. If you pick the right dancer she will give you some good two-way contact until the second bouncer comes to the back to sit and monitor the dances.
