So I came down to the block for the first time around 4:30 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon. It was a day post snow storm, so things could have been light, but nothing could have been lighter than the Hustler Club (another review). I only stayed for one beer at the Hustler Club and then walked down the block when I inexplicably fell for the first guy trying to talk me into his club. The Flamingo Lounge. Hey, why not?

My guess is this club is more common to the block style- small room with a square bar encompassing the entire bar- with girls dancing behind the bar. Sleazy would fit but sometimes I like a little sleaze. Its basically a basement bar. Shortly after sitting down I was accosted by an attractive "young" dancer (probably upper 20's, but that was young to this crowd). She told me they always greeted new guys in one way, and then proceeded to give me a handshake that had nothing to do with my hand.

As I looked around she was the hottest girl in the club. But, it was a mixed crowd. Some attractive African Americans, one very attractive blond, my friend, and then several very large girls who should not have been dancing. I bought my friend several drinks at $20 a pop, only because she was doing more with me as I sat with her than I normally have back home with a $30 couch dance. My beers were $7, not exactly cheap. As we drank our drinks, there was constant two way contact- heavy two way contact. That is, leave nothing to your imagination two way contact. She offered to go back to my hotel room, repeatedly, and then when I declined, she said we could take another girl with us (the very attractive blond). It was a very acceptable rate. I didn't partake, but only because I had to meet someone for dinner.
