I really wanted to like this...

I really wanted to like this place, especially because it's the "sister" club to my favorite Providence club, The Satin Doll. I walked in and found it to be a good atmosphere. A large open area with a main stage and a small alcove area which is used for massages. The upstairs area has a long row of dark, private booths for lapdances. I came in on a Thursday afternoon and headed to the bar. Rather than trying to figure out the BYOB system, I just settled on a Diet Coke.

The only thing worse than a dancer who won't take "no" for an answer is a dancer that keeps you from getting the dancer you really want. I hadn't even taken off my coat before an overaggressive blonde came over to hustle me for a dance. Unfortunately I arrived at a shift change, and I'd have much preferred the voluptuous girl dancing on stage. Instead of going with the posted $25 topless/$35 nude format, this girl insisted on the $165 15-minute full deal. I didn't bite, but by the time I finished dealing with the blonde, the redhead was gone.

I get the feeling the private dances would be wonderful...if you get the right girl and you have the money. I'm sticking with the Satin Doll, thanks. It may lack the view, but you can actually talk to the girls, there's less hustle and the hands-on experience is a relative bargain.
