I came to Club Downtown for...

I came to Club Downtown for a friend's bachelor party and it was everything as advertised. It's on St. Catherine St right next to another club, a bit further from the much busier area around Super Sexe but well worth the extra 5 minute walk.

The bouncer out front did a great job of getting us inside, he was friendly and waived the cover fee (I believe it was $5) for most of my party if we agreed to drink a ton (I think he could tell we were pretty inebriated already and would drop a ton of money inside), when you walk in, you go straight up to the second floor (entire club is on the second floor). Once you get in, it's a long narrow club, first you go past the private lapdance booths that have curtains on them, then a long bar on the left handside where many of the girls hang out, then stages along the right hand side of the room where girls dance.

Our waitress was a nice french-canadian girl, we opted to get beer special bucket, I believe it was around $5-6 per beer which being from NYC we thought was a great value/price for beers considering it was a friday night at a strip club.
