I was curious and went down...

I was curious and went down last Wednesday to find out what was happening. The cover charge was waived because the place is like a construction site inside, and I do mean that literally. The old stage is gone and new one was partially installed, one with the more typical 'peanut' shape (two wider areas with a narrower area connecting them). The new bar is still not finished and the old bar is now a very small area due to the fact that the framing for the new VIP room is in place. From the looks of what was there, it appears as though this will have at least three booth-type areas for dances that are open to all other customers coming into or leaving the room (and to the bouncer who will no doubt be watching). Any one who's been to the club and remembers the area where the pool tables were located at, the VIP will take only part of that space, so that should give you an idea of how small a space we're talking about. The old rooms in the back are still in use (thank you, God!), which is where I ended up with Hayley. We had a bit of a chat first, catching up on things. She now seems to be quite happy with the new arrangement and the new owners, but she is one of the cheeriest dancers I've ever met. Her usual very enjoyable performance was delivered and that helped make the hour or so I was there enjoyable.
