Personally I have never found this place to provide any particular entertainment value...not when it was San Juan Liquors...not now. Despite several internal layout changes over the years, the place remains seedy--or should I say not well staffed and patronized. Recently I made a visit in order to pick up a girlfriend who very briefly (against my advice) worked at Flashdancers. I was greeted by a 'waitress' who looked like an older & scarier version of the tea-reading professor from Harry Potter 3...complete with similar ugly glasses. Judging by the change I received she had already tipped herself very generously for the two beers I ordered. My girl shows up and confirms that the sly server is not a waitress but an over the hill entertainer who specializes in BJs in the VIP, and adds that this little hellion has pissed the rest of the girls off since now all the patrons want lip service from all the girls. Who knows, this waitress cum (pun intended) specialty girl may have started a positive trend in the value of showbar...but I think I'll continue to pass.
