I thought that you might appreciate a review of The Lodge from a VIP member. I can assure you that the experience available to those with the wherewithal to wine and dine their favorite entertainer in luxury and relative privacy is the crowning achievement of The Lodge and what really sets it apart. I wandered in about 18 months ago with no idea what awaited me. I was struck by the masculine and comfortable décor and furnishings. I also appreciated the cleanliness. Smoking is not allowed. My fabulous waitress (still my best friend there) showed me around the club, asked what type of young lady I would like to meet (hair color, body type, personality, etc.), showed me the extensive wine list, and signed me up for VIP. What a great move that turned out to be. My waitress brought me a few entertainers after we had worked out a code. While seeming to consider a drink order, I was secretly telling her whether the young lady at my table met my expectations. If not, the waitress took her away and brought another. It turned out that three was my lucky number that first evening as I met someone who was at once stunningly beautiful, with a body fit for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and an entertaining conversationalist. With Dom Perignon for an aperitif, we settled in the Casablanca Room (the private area upstairs for VIP members) for a wonderful meal. Then we repaired to one of the private lounge areas for dancing, conversation, and more libations. The entire upstairs staff is terrific and has treated me wonderfully. If asked to compare The Lodge downstairs to the splendor of the Casablanca Room I would suggest the difference is something akin to shopping at Macy’s vs. having a private shopper at Neiman Marcus.

I have traveled throughout the United States (Manhattan, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami) and Europe (Paris, London, Copenhagen, Stockholm) and never found a better gentlemen's club. Those patrons who stay downstairs may wonder where the really great "talent" might be. The answer is upstairs in the VIP area. If you are drinking a bottle of wine or champagne of a certain price (and I always do) then your entertainer/dinner companion is excused from having to make the rounds of the stages. And they are glad to avoid the need to dance for the hoi polloi in the hope of making pocket change. Upstairs everyone can relax and enjoy the evening oblivious to the hustling for table dances below. Of course, this all comes at a cost. The young ladies enjoy being treated well, drinking exceptional wines, and making a lot of money with less effort than usual. And we must recognize that the dancers are there to make money; not to meet their next date. I can assure you that the dances are much better upstairs and the entertainers are wreathed in smiles. I routinely have a bar and dinner tab over $1,000 and that is before I tip my waitress and the entertainer(s). When the stars are properly aligned and the evening is all I would want I happily pay $300-400/hour. And some nights I have enjoyed the company of two or more entertainers. Of course, VIP only costs $750 for one year and you could easily enjoy yourself on a less grand scale. With one card you can bring guests so buddies could work together on this to make the finances acceptable. Those of you who can afford the finer things in life should grant themselves this indulgence. I know that I continue to look forward to my visits. My favorite waitress calls me when there is a new entertainer she thinks I might enjoy meeting. And she now knows my taste so well that her choices are unerringly appealing. The Lodge has truly earned its lofty status as the Best Gentlemen’s Club.
