This review is based on several visits during the dayshift at Joy of Austin. I consider myself a regular at Joy, but the place is going downhill quickly. The previous review is right about the parking lot and large potholes. Work is still being done on the long overdue new VIP section. There is no cover charge during the day and they have daily lunch specials for $1 or $2, but remember you get what you pay for.

The club is not busy during lunch time and to my surprise they have a few good looking dancers with great dances for an Austin club. I recommend Crystal, Miranda or Jaime. Forget $5 Tuesdays. Eventhough it is advertised in the club's scrolling banner the majority of the dayshift girls will not dance for $5. Some will offer $10 per dance, but most offer 2 for 1 dances. I have been to the club different days of the week and the 2 for 1 dances seemed to be the standard for the dayshift.

Joy of Austin is a fun club even during the day. The owners just need to spend some money fixing the club up.
