A little background, my only RI club experiences prior to this have been Foxy Lady and Club Fantasies. This was my first time to Club Desire, but it won't be the last. Thanks to some fellow reviewers, I knew a little about what to expect coming in, which was helpful. I arrived at around 6:15pm or so on a Sunday and was not charged a cover. The club is very nice, pretty small, but a little too heavy on the neon lighting for my tastes. I didn't try "Lust," which is the more private members-only club upstairs, so I can't comment on that. There are two bars downstairs with cute bartenders. On one side of the bars are the private dance areas, and down two steps on the other side is a lounge-ish area with a stage for dancers. This was a Sunday evening (with the Pats game), so I have no idea of the norm with girls, but they averaged a 7 that night, with a few 8's here and there. No stunners, but plenty attractive dancers. For comparison, the dancers' looks were a step below Foxy Lady and a step above Club Fantasies based on my prior experiences at those places. One dancer mentioned (without me saying a thing) that better looking girls came in after 8:30pm. It was weird that she brought that up without my prompting, and I didn't stay to 8:30pm, but it's something to note. Anyway, I knew that I wanted to try the downstairs 15 min Champagne Room with a girl, but it took awhile to get noticed. At Club Fantasies, I would have had 5 girls approach me in the first ten minutes, a few of which would rub my pants. Not here. But, don't lose heart, you just have to be a little more forward and/or patient at Desire. I prefer forward girls because I can check them out up close, have a quick chat, and decide which are worth a dance, all while enjoying my beer. Oh, random, some bouncer gave me a card good for a free drink while I was at the bar... that was unexpected and a nice gesture. I eventually made eyes with a cute girl, about an 8 in looks, at the other bar. She came over after seeing me check her out and we started talking. She was sweet, but quickly wanted me to buy her a drink. We kept talking, and I mentioned the 15 min Champagne Room, which she quoted me $130 for, which includes a drink. I hate asking too much about what goes on in there, but hinted enough to get an assurance that she was "fun." I have no idea what the mileage is for the regular dances, but I had heard the CR was a good time. Indeed, it had a full door and the dancer I chose was very "fun." Good to her promise. YMMV, but it was worth the $130 for me, and I even gave her a $30 tip because she left me in such a good mood. She wasn't greedy and even seemed shocked that I gave her that much as a tip, even trying to give some back. No idea what the norm is for tipping, but I wanted to overtip. I didn't once feel rushed for time. Everyone who worked there was kind and minded to themselves. The girls were good looking. Parking was easy and well-lit. The Pats game was the only disappointment of the night.
