Visited this Club on a Friday...

Visited this Club on a Friday evening as I was in town for business. The good news, the beers were reasonable, I got in with no cover, and the waitress service was great, and they didn’t hassle you to buy drinks for the ladies very aggressively. The down side, this was not as good a visit as I have had in the past. There were too few dancers, and they seemed congregated around regulars. You could tip on stage , and they still wouldn’t come say hello, which was a little discouraging. The club has a local, blue collar feel to it, that is not necessarily bad, but if you wear a suit and tie, you will definitely stand out. I received some snide comments from some patrons which I ignored. Just remember, you are in the middle of good old boy Alabama here, and tolerance is not their forte. The bathrooms were pretty dirty and needed some attention. The girls will walk up, ask if you want a dance and then move on. No conversation to establish a rapport here. Finally got a couple of dances which were much tamer than they usually are.. Dances are given in small wooden booths with cameras. The walls are only 4 feet high, and it is pretty well lighted. The bouncer was really aggressive in limiting two way contact so it was a pretty one sided dance, but decent grind. I am thinking there must have been some legal changes or crack downs recently as the club seemed a bit more uptight than usual. A fair value, but at this time better to go further into Huntsville.
