After a stretch where I was preferring to spend more money on going to Chicago and getting more mileage, I've come back to Silk in recent times and found that things have actually gotten a little better, at least in terms of the quality of dance.

The club itself is still nice by Milwaukee standards, though perhaps not as nice as OTB is since its upgrade. The upholstry in the couch rooms is in need of some help, as is the carpeting in some places, but let's face: You don't go to these clubs to evaluate the interior decorator.

One thing I've noticed is that Silk has started to rely a little more heavily on asian women. This isn't necessarily a bad thing; it's just whether or not it suits your taste. I don't mind this, especially since they have a good variety -- some larger, some smaller, some older, some younger, etc. I REALLY like the fact that not all of them feel they have to put on the silly "me love you long time" accent or numerous fake tattoos (some do, but some guys are probably into that, too).
