Had a hankering for some "Asian persuasion" so drove out to COI. The parking lot seemed fairly full which was a good sign. Found a space in front of the Rhino's adjacent adult store and texted for the code for free admission. I immediately received a response and headed to the club's entrance. Upon entering I showed the doorman the reply text and he then looked in a notebook and said it had already been used. I stated that couldn't be correct and informed him I just texted to get the reply and even called his attention to the time of the reply text. I was able to observe the club's entrance from my parking space and no one had entered the club after I had texted for the free admission. He then abruptly repeated again that it had already been used and demonstratively stated I needed to pay him $20 dollars for admission or leave. I decided to leave. I never expected to be treated like that at a Spearmint Rhino. If that was the attitude at the door, then I'm sure the attitude in the club would have been the same or worse. It just goes to show no matter the corporate affiliation a "gentleman's club" is still a strip club.
