I was in New Orleans for...

I was in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl last week and had done a fair amount of research, primarily on this website, trying to find the best clubs and being concerned about all of the negative reviews of the clubs, especially those in the French Quarter. I visited a number of clubs over a three day period and determined that, as usual, your mileage will vary, not only on a club by club basis, but on a dancer by dancer basis.

I visited Passions twice and had an excellent experience there both times. I am white and all of the dancers at Passions were black, as were most of the patrons. However, I felt comfortable and safe all of the time. This club opens fairly late (around 8pm) and apparently closes when business slows (around 1am). Most of the dancers were a bit too large for my taste, but two were to my liking. As described below, private dances are performed in very private booths and were very high mileage. I requested a happy ending and was given a couple of different choices and received exactly what I requested at the price agreed to.

This club is about 15 minutes from the French Quarter, but a good choice.
