yet another trip to sd, mainly to visit tj and partake in my shameless activities. will highlight some differences from my previous trips. i tried hard to find a chica to my liking at adelitas, but again, was finding it tough to choose one. just wasn't getting the right vibe. i even tried friday and saturday nights (a first for me - usually a daytime person). i'll admit those nights definitely had more ladies, and they were better than the usual, but i kept gravitating towards hk.

so to indulge in late night activities in tj, i decided to get a hotel there, as the trolley doesn't run through the night. ended up going with hotel cascadas right next to hk. made a reservation online (essentially an email) for the single room at $30 a night (since raised to $35 i believe) for a few nights. there's a $10 deposit for the key card. they gave me a 5th floor room, which was a hike, but there's also an elevator available. they've been remodelling the rooms, but starting with the 3rd floor, which are the usual half hour to hour rentals. those are definitely nicer with new showers and sinks. the 5th floor room i got was the same as i remembered from the past. seemed clean enough. the sink water tasted kind of funky (when i brushed my teeth), but there's water coolers out in the hallways. the hotel staff doesn't speak too much english, so you should bone up on some spanish terms for hotel accomodations. towels, soap, and toilet paper are provided. condoms are not provided, so bring your own, or buy at the front desk for a buck. not so sure about security of the room, so i didn't leave any valuables in there. didn't think it was dangerous, but i tossed a few chairs in front of the door when i slept :).

so the best part about having your own room at cascadas was that you could bring as many ladies as you can handle per day, with no time limit (some of the girls would keep time, but no knocking by hotel staff, etc.). i only brought the ladies from hk to my room. i doubt any of the girls from adelitas would come to that hotel. they're likely obligated to use the hotel adjacent to that club. the regular rental rates are $15 half hour and $25 hour, so obviously the $30 a day rate is a great deal. checkout time is 1pm.
