I had never been to SR...

I had never been to SR before, being more of a Baby Dolls guy with occasional trips to the dive clubs. But this Thursday I got off early from work and thought I would give SR a chance to earn my strip club dollars.

Since I only brought about $40 with me, I immediately liked the low daytime cover charge ($3.00 until 7:00) and the relatively cheap beer ($3.00 until 7:00). I wish I were rich. It’s on my agenda, my to-do list, my New Years resolutions. Get rich in 2011. In the meantime though I may have to face the fact that I really can’t afford the stripclub experience. Not very often anyway.

This is a fairly small club which at one time was a steakhouse, Old San Francisco I think. Only one stage was being used when I was there, around 4:00 in the afternoon. One interesting feature of this club is the staircase that leads from the main stage to the surface of the bar. Dancers can walk across the stairs and then proceed to perform on the bar. Unfortunately, although I and several other customers were stationed at the bar, none of the dancers chose to take advantage of this feature.
