I had not visited Pure Platinum...

I had not visited Pure Platinum for awhile and this club has really gone downhill. On a positive note the remodeling that was done a couple of years ago is nice. The club has better seating now and is more comfortable. But what happened to the dancers, now granted I was there on a Wednesday during the Holidays, but I didn't see anyone that I would get a dance with. Now if you like girls with a little more mileage and or all tattooed then this is your place, but to me this has become the club where strippers go to end their careers. Every city has that one club that takes in all the old strays and for now Pure Platinum II is that club in SD.

On another note one of the best features of this club used to be the smoking section in the back. They used to have pool tables and a decent cigar selection, and the best part was that is was a great place to hang out with and get to know the girls. But when I was there they had this white trash rock band playing on the stage and none of the dancers where even in the room. It was like leaving the strip club and walking into an East County dive bar.

As for the the lap dancing well they have three chairs not private or separated in a corner off the side of the main stage. Now from where I was sitting I could see that they were complete air dances and I didn't wanted to waste $20 on an air dance from a 30 something tattooed single mom. I had a couple of beers and stuck around for about an hour just to see if there was at least that one diamond that I might have missed, but no! so I headed to Cheetah's and the Bullpen.
