Last July (2010) I was in Toronto on my way to my to Cuba and since I had some time to kill, I went to Zanzibar. I do not go to strip clubs that often, but I liked the fact that there was no pressure to do anything here. I'm not into the lap dance thing so I just sat close to the stage and watched them girls wriggling, grinding, grayting on the stage. Some removed all their clothes, others did not. The stage is not that great, the lighting was poor. The music was not that good either, and the ambience was average. There was a high turnover of hobbyists, with some not even staying through two beers. Other than myself, no one else seemed to be absorbed in the girls dancing, I cannot remember any eye popping dance/r either. A few hobbyists were disappearing to the 'VIP' area only to reappear a few songs later smiling from ear to ear and quickly disappearing into the the populous Yonge street.The girls were varied, there were various races.

This diversion was good for me, because I needed all the energy i could conserve in order to conquer La Habana the following day.

I think I left the joint that joint after 2 hours well charged. The drinks prices were reasonable I think, but I did not buy any lady drinks, as there was no point really. The ladies were Ok, nothing earth shattering at all, nobody stuck out for me
