I forgot I'd gone to Cabaret...

I forgot I'd gone to Cabaret North last month. That, in itself, should say something.

The club is nice inside - very nice. In fact, the whole building is a lot nicer than the various strip clubs around the area. The cover charge is about on par, same with the beer prices. The women? Gorgeous. Seriously hot women who know how to dance - not just strip, but actually dance.

So why'd I forget I'd been? Eh, it wasn't a memorable night really. Cabaret North is part of the Rick's chains of clubs (which just took over Jaguar's Gold in Fort Worth and renamed it Cabaret East). They put up nice buildings, they hire beautiful women - and it all feels sorta premade and mechanical. Look, I'm not expecting a dancer to want to spend time with me because I have a nice personality or anything, but if a dancer walks by my table and barks, "Lap dance?" the same way a baseball field hotdog vendor hawks his wares, it's a little weird to me. That is, when the dancers even address you. They're not rude, but definitely cold and not exactly personable. But maybe it was a bad night.
