Having a reason to celebrate is...

Having a reason to celebrate is a good reason to go to a club. Having a club worth going to, though, is not a given. Heartbreaker's has held a special place in my heart for it's stable management, familiar surroundings, and the fact that it's a 'hand-on, full-nude' club (at least in the case of the 'fantasy dances'). That's over, or at least it will be shortly. The club has been bought by a group of investors (reportedly from Chicago) who are currently slowly gutting and remodeling the club. From the information this reporter gathered, the club you might remember from a past visit will shortly only be recognizable from the outside. The changes will be extensive: the current entrance will vanish, resulting in the moving of the bar into the dance area, replacing the current stage with two smaller stages, and worst of all, removal of the current private rooms for fantasy dances, to be replaced with a "VIP Room" where the bar currently is. Worst of all for an 'enjoyment factor' standpoint, when the new interior is completed, the club will become a "hands off" club, with a bouncer/security guy in the VIP area at all times, plus cameras to monitor the interaction of the dancers and customers. Several of the "regular" dancers have already quit, as the club is now imposing "attendance" rules on the dancers and requiring them to pay a flat $300/night fee to perform. About all the only dancers anyone who's been there might know now are Aubery, Hayleigh and Juliet, and at least one of them is looking to get out ASAP. The dancer's I saw there who have come in to replace the ones who have quit looked to be well past their shelf life, BTW, so this isn't a case of the new mangement looking to "improve the standards".

Those looking to go and experience the club before it becomes little more than just another "air dance" establishment, be forewarned: the doors have already been removed from the private rooms, and while you can still touch, the days of getting a nice handful of tittie are gone. So one more good (if obscure) club bites the dust. May it's memory live long.
