I normally prefer Mario's Showplace, but decided to head to the Foxy Lady one Thursday evening in December. Overall, I was very pleased. The Foxy Lady is definitely in the "gentlemen's club" genre. The building is well-decorated and the girls are top notch. I was surprised at how many they had working on a Thursday. They even opened up the side stage. I paid a $12 cover charge and the drinks were also very expensive, but lap dances were $20 per song. After 8pm, they did "2 for 1" dances that were $30. That doesn't quite add up to "2 for 1" (I assume they claim the extra $10 is for the t-shirt that comes with the dances), but it's still a good deal. I also got a free admission card out of the "2 for 1," though it expires in less than a month. I was also surprised at the level of contact I got with my dances. Granted, it's all one-way contact, but I think it was pretty good mileage. Even the "2 for 1" dances were very good. The dancers weren't particularly pushy with the "wanna dance" routine. Some were spending significant time with what I assume to be regulars. You may need to make your interest clear, most likely by tipping a good amount when she's on stage. The lap dances are in a dark, but fairly open, area underneath the stage. I never saw bouncers coming through there, though I'm sure they're monitoring it. I'm very skeptical about anyone getting extras here - it's not that kind of club. Actually, I was really happy with my experience. In the past, I've had mixed feelings about the Foxy Lady, but with the changes at Mario's, I think these two have equalized somewhat. We'll see if that trend continues.
