Passing through Knoxville, I stopped in the Mouse's Ear West at opening time (4:00) on Saturday. I wasn't expecting a lot, just taking an hour break from driving. I was pleasantly surprised. There was no cover so early on Saturday. There were only four dancers (one was a trainee on her first night): Katy, Kari, Angel, and Tara. Mouse's Ear is full nude, even for couch dances, but unfortunately it's non-contact. Even so, the dances were decent, especially Tara's, which was the best non-contact dance ever. The best part of the club was the friendliness of the girls. Katy and Tara both sat down an chatted for quite a while before asking for a dance. Tara also suggested we wait until the two-for-one special. And, each of the girls came around and thanked each of the customers who had tipped her while she was on stage. Dances were $10 for table-side, $20 for on-the-table, and $30 for a couch. The best value, by far, though was the $1 tip to the girl on the stage, which resulted in the same view as the couch dances for a lot less. All in all, it was a great break from my all-day drive.
