The first stop of 5 Detroit...

The first stop of 5 Detroit area clubs as my Xmas gift to myself. I drive from Grand Rapids, 2-1/2 hours to enjoy what Detroit clubs have to offer, BUT, was a bit discouraged this trip. My visits were to Tycoons, Penthouse, Henry VIII south, BT's and Flight Club.

Arrived shortly after noon when they opened. No dancers on stage yet. Ordered a tall Capt. and diet for $12. but was told if tab over $20 you get 1/2 off....hmmmm they want you to stay. Keep in mind that Michigan passed a NO SMOKING in public places law this year to save us non smokers from breathing the disgusting smoke, and leaving smelling like an ashtray! Whae smoking was allowed, us non smolers didn't have a choice, but now that the law states that any smoking is to be done outside, then owners of clubs should abide by that!!!!! I saw ash trays on the bar, and while sipping my first drink, a female employee came and sat 2 stools away and lit up a cigarette! This was the start of a mostly poor strip club Saturday excursion. I quickly paid for my drink and told the bartender why I was leaving (SMOKE) but sure she didn't care. Off to Penthouse Club, as sorry, but a club that is allowing smoking, while against the law isn't going to get my business!!
