Well, this long-time Cheetahs fan from the South Bay finally made it to Lil Darlins this afternoon around 1 pm following a round of golf. And was I pleasantly surprised, especially for a Tues afternoon. This could be the best kept secret in the SD area. Darlin’s is a fairly small place, with seats around a horseshoe stage and little round tables beyond that. The chairs at the tables are slightly padded, but very uncomfortable. 2 side walls are lined with semi-private booths. The couches there are fairly comfortable. There was “no cover” during the day, though $8 was charged for the mandatory 2 non-alcoholic drinks. I was one of four customers in the place. The hottest girl in the joint was the waitress in black jeans and a t-shirt, but she didn’t dance. There were four dancers on duty. They danced 2 songs, the second one nude. Lots of nice rolling around and crawlng on stage, affording very nice views. No stunners, nothing horrendous, but only one could be considered a hottie. After the stage show, the girls go around the room for their tips ($1 seemed to be the going rate) and ask if you want a private dance. Nothing pushy, all friendly. Private dances are done with tops and bottoms on, unfortunately. Laps are $20 but you should wait for the many "blue light" specials. They did several line-up roll calls followed by dance specials in the hour and a half I was there. Rules are no touching but with the right dancer.....One dancer asked if she could join me at my table. I said sure, but declined the waitress’ offer to buy her a “drink”. Didn’t even find out how much it would have cost. This girl was about 6 feet tall in her heels and very skinny. Seemed like she was wearing a black wig. Most noticeable was her artwork. She was covered with huge tat designs on her cleavage, back, arms, and hips. But her stage show was pretty hot and I later enjoyed a 3 for $40 dance special with her that was very enjoyable. Very nice grinding, Russian through her top, head pressure to the right spot, a little flashing. I wanted to try out the hottie, so I ended the session. As luck would have it, when I came out of the booth there was only 2 guys on the floor and my hottie was on stage. The other guys were in booths getting LDs. The hottie came by just as the DJ announced another special...I think it was a 2 for 1 and I had her take me to a booth. She was about 5’4”, great rack and awesome, tight butt. Face was above average but body was just about perfect. And this girl could grind with the best of them. When the special ended, I was ready to continue for a couple of more at the standard $20 a pop when the DJ announced if you were already in a booth you could continue for $10 a dance. This at first seemed to annoy my dancer, but she got over it very quickly. I kept her for about 7 more dances. Could have had a happy ending at any time but chose not to. It was almost a battle of wills...her trying to get me off and me fighting the urge. Gave her an extra $20 because I felt like I got a real good deal and she gave her best. As I left, 2 very cute gals walked in, would have like to have seen them, but had to go. Music was good, mostly classic rock, could have been louder. DJ played one rap song and said it would be the last one of the day. I found out that Wed is prob the best day to go. You buy a $20 wristband during the day and all dances are $10 with free drinks. They also do this on Sat during the day and Mon from 4-8. Their monthly calendar lists all the specials. I will be returning. Downchecks for clothed laps, lack of touching, and lack of Cheetah quality beauties, but quality of laps was great with the two I tried. I think this place rates a 9 or 10 if counting San Diego only. On a national scale, more like a 7. Anyway, I will return.
