I came here on the whim...
I came here on the whim because a friend of mine used to dance here and I thought “what the hell First of all, I didn’t really enjoy the lack of confidentiality. The club is on the corner of 38th and Chestnut Street right in the middle of the University of Pennsylvania’s and Drexel University’s thoroughfare. There is no smooth easy way of going down there and EVERYBODY not seeing you do it.
It was a typical stripper bar for the most part. There was a LOT of security which made me feel uncomfortable. You had to go through a metal detector and still be subjected to a rigorous and thorough body search. Seriously? I am pretty sure that in certain countries those gentlemen and I would probably be considered legally married.
The girls were ok. A lot of them were just a little too obese for my taste. If I wanted to see a rotund chick with cellulite and a C-section scar shake her shit? I’d buy my wife a pole! The lap dancing was $20 and she literally spewed ever freaking cliché that has ever been sloppily belched out between drunken fake moans of pleasure and what I suspect was really barely hidden male loathing.
All in all, it was like a weird mixture of Greek Fraternity meets Ghetto Valhalla all wrapped up in a sad and depressing layer after layer of cliche's.
