Revisited this Manhattan institution on a peak saturday night, with lights down low and music blasting. The formula here hasn't changed in decades (except for the addition of a sushi bar (!) for snacks): $20 cover, expensive drinks, and teasing dances which promote more private champagne room experiences.
A typically wide variety of dancers, 6s and 7s, but with so many customers and so little light, I had a hard time getting in the groove. But the distinction of 4 dancers on the main stage at one time makes for an enjoyable, omigod experience. One witty dancer had a tattoo of a spine on her back.
With it so busy on this particular night, relaxation was hard to achieve. Still, it was entertaining to see so much going on at one time.
