Just got back from my first...

Just got back from my first trip to Platinum 84.

Club: This is a really nice place (by my standards anyway) It is larger than most clubs in denver with 3 pole stages (2 in use while I was there), a mini boxing ring for pillow fights (also not in use but would have been funny), a decent amount of tables, pool tables, beer pong tables (never seen that one before) and even a foosball table all without feeling crowded. It all looks and feels very clean, bathroom included, not seedy at all. The crowd was suburban/business types. No thug factor at all. Bottle beer was $6 which isn't great but went to 2 for 1 at happy hour around 6. A feature which I greatly appreciated was that the ATM charged a flat $5 fee rather than a 10% surcharge that I am used to in clubs. Private dance area is separated from the rest of the club by a 6ft glass block wall. Not see through at all, so you are private from the rest of the club and I never saw the bouncer check back there. Unfortunately, the dance booths are not really separated from one-another, so privacy does suffer in that respect. According to the girls they just put in the chairs in the private area and they are a little funky. They are like a recliner halfway open, so your feet are propped up a bit instead of on the floor like I am used to. The chairs weren't uncomfortable, just awkward and not to my taste. (Or the dancers either apparently) Only other small gripe about the private area is there is almost no room to walk between the glass divider wall and the chairs, so you are stepping over the feet of the other customers getting dances, like a movie theater or something. Not a big deal, just annoying.

Girls: I have to say I was fairly impressed with the quality of the ladies for so early in the day. When I first arrived at 4:30 it was mostly 6 and 7s but around 6pm the evening girls started coming in and there were several 8s and 9s. Girls were actually very friendly, sitting down at my table to chat and most weren't pushy at all with drinks or dances.

Dances: So I would have given Platinum higher than a 6 for value if my first dance had not put a bit of a damper on my evening. I don't remember her name, but she had a smoking body and a lousy face. Epitome of butter-face. She was friendly though, so I took her up on a dance. If only I have said no! As soon as she started dancing in the private area, her leg brushed my hand (down at my sides!) and she said "Ah ah, watch your hands!" This was repeated several more times during the dance when she was the one brushing me and only on the back of the hands. Since she was so ridiculously strict about my hands, I thought well, this club is super up tight about hands off at all times. (I am really not used to this since I normally go to PT's all nude and two way contact during private is pretty much a given there) This dancers up tightness about contact left me with my hands by my sides until my last dancer of the night, who firmly placed my hands on her ass after a couple of songs. Value definitely would have gone up if I hadn't been scared off trying more two way contact by that first girl.

My second dancer, Mya was very sweet with a souther accent, very chatty, latina looks and bolt ons (not usually my thing but she was very friendly) OK dances from Mya, I got 2, better conversation.
