Visited the club last night. Impressive...
Visited the club last night. Impressive setting and attractive entertainers, but that's about all the positive comments I have. I sat down on one of the couches and was immediately approached by the maitre who, when he found out I was alone, directed me to the cheap seats along the wall. I could understand that if the place was packed and they needed the room for larger groups, but the club wasn't more than 30 percent full. Once there I got no attention from any of the dancers - except one who spent a full 60 seconds with me before she got up to go on stage. Maybe I was too ugly, but I would have thought Alexander Hamilton's would have been attractive to somebody. Alas, no. The drink was not cheap, but that's to be expected. In fact, I was there to spend money, but apparently nobody wanted it. Although there were at least three servers working - and as I mentioned the place was not packed - it took my waitress more than 10 minutes to get my drink. I spend only about 30 minutes there before I got fed up and left. It's too bad, because I had money and time to spend, but I got little service and less attention. Ironically, any manager worth his black tie knows the single businessman is the best revenue opportunity - both for the club and the girls. The guy who comes in with his buddies may run up a decent bar bill, but he's there mostly to hang with his friends and flirt with the girls. The single business type is there for just one reason - to interact with the girls. The business patron - unless he heads right for the stage - is much more likely, with appropriate attention and service, to end up in the VIP buying expensive drinks for the dancers. I don't blame the girls at this place - they follow management's lead. So, if you're going as a group, this is probably a good club, but if you're on your own, I'd plan to spend your money someplace else.
