I was here on a thursday...

I was here on a thursday evening couple of weeks back. Looked like a pretty bad timing as the shift was changing. No cover. But something odd happened and that too for the first time with me. I was asked to take a drink. Normally, I take a drink when I get in. Since the shift was changing, I was just waiting to get settled in. Anyway, the night did not go any better. Couple of 7s and rest as usual. Nobody excited me for a dance. One of them who I was interested in seemed to be catering to her regulars. Since I come only one every 1-2 months, it looked like I was not in their to be serviced category. 3 beers, couple of hrs wasted and I was on my way back home on i-91.
