I'm from the west coast and have gone to a lot of clubs out here, but Private Eyes was one of the best experiences I've had. As described elsewhere--separate bar and topless area. All clean and comfortable. Admission was free with purchase of one overpriced but not watered down drink (it did seem to take the bartender and awful long time to make). $20 for dance, given against a back wall couch that while not private was dark enough to allow a lot or mutual touching. I wasn't sure what was allowed so didn't test that as far as I might have.

What I liked about the club was this: the music wasn't too loud that you couldn't chat with the girls. All the girls I saw were pretty and I think all natural, which is another big plus. I would have been happy having dances with any of them. The girls were friendly but not pushy--if you said 'maybe later' or 'not now' they didn't storm off like in other clubs. I know their time is money, so I try not to waste it and I appreciate if they are courteous back. Had dances with two girls--one tall, skinny but pretty and one Japanese who I think I could have proposed to right on the spot. Can't wait to get back to NY and visit again.
