This is my local favorite. While Tootsie's is still by far my favorite club, this one is located right near my work and I frequent it for happy hour. I'm lucky to have this place nearby work, as it is definitely one of the better clubs that I have been to. It's main competition in this area is BT's in South Miami, but Playmates is a markedly better club.

The club will take a few minutes to find. It's located in a little warehouse/tow yard district in Coral Gables that spans like six square blocks, so although you won't be able to find it directly the first time, after a couple of minutes of driving around the area, you'll stumble upon it. Parking, quite frankly, sucks. If you don't like to valet, you have to find a random spot in the middle of an area that unfortunately APPEARS to house multiple car chop-shops. However, I've been to the club countless times, I don't valet, and I've had no problems so far *knock on wood*.

Inside the club is decent, but nothing special. It's not very big, but I've never really seen it get packed. It's almost like a hidden secret :-). Anyone who's seen my other reviews knows that I'm usually just a club happy hour visitor and rarely make a night out of a strip club unless it's a special occasion. This is perfect since it's located so close to work. Happy hour is free, and somehow I stumbled upon a ridiculous amount of free night passes anyways, so I'll never really have to pay to get in here and don't know what the cover is. Happy hour boasts $3 beers, which I think is pretty good (I believe it's half of the normal price). I've never had their food, but to be honest, I sometimes see the dancers eating it and it doesn't look to appetizing.
