I have been working up in the Grand Rapids area for a while now and recently have heard commercials for the Tropics. They advertise a lot on sports radio stations. So, i decided to stop in and visit. For an afternoon, a good crew on hand, dancers were mostly in the 5-8 range, and there was a girl named Kitty that had a great school girl look going. Spent some time talking to Jasmine and a tall blonde, didn't catch her name, but all the girls were very friendly and made you feel comfortable.

The bartender was quick to come and see if you were ready for another drink, which was nice. I didn't have much time, so just a beer for me, but it was worth stopping in to check out the talent and set up. The private dances were not too private, pretty visible from most areas of the bar, but they looked like a good value.

The girls all spent a decent amount of time sitting and talking to the customers, which is nice. Gives you that feel of being a regular, even though it was my first time in. I enjoyed the trip a lot, and will certainly be going back. Compared to other clubs in the area, the talent was equal, and the atmosphere was much more friendly.
