Well, it is a but murky - so was it really 10 dancers on shift? It might have been.

I was a bit tipsy walking around in Roppongi and some nice guy told me about the club. Not pushy at all. Now, I was well dressed as I came from another formal function. Those guys probably know how to read you.

Once in (no cover charge), the manager came up to me and explained the system. All very transparent. I decided to stay put a bit, thinking it'll cost me 2 drinks or so. The place was not smokey and beautiful dancers on both stages. Actually, it was what I had been looking for for a long time.

A girl came over, we talked, she explained the system with drinks and told the plus and minus of each. I liked her and decided to hang out a bit more and increase my spending limit.

Ok, so in short, I had the time of my life - with 2 girls. I paid for it, but in retrospect it all was very reasonable (it became an allnighter), with the manager giving my periodic updates on my bill. I requested him to cap it - and he let me know when I reached my limit.
