I don't normally have the opportunity...

I don't normally have the opportunity to visit clubs on the weekends, but I found myself with a couple of free hours last Saturday afternoon. I dropped in at Cowboys to see what was up. There was no cover, and drink prices were around $3-4. There were 6-7 girls working and maybe a dozen customers. The dancers were working a more leisurely 2-stage rotation (one girl at a time, first on side stage and then on main stage) There was a different crew at work, I didn't see any faces that I recognized from weeknights. The dancer quality was much the same however. I spent some time chatting with a pretty Asian girl and helped her towards her 10 drink quota. Cowboy's always has a laid-back, low-pressure vibe and Saturday was no exception. After a chatting awhile we went to the LD room. LDs are $20, some dancers will ask you to pay the $5 DJ tipout, but they are not pushy about it. The LD room at Cowboy's is kind of open and in full view of the DJ. My dancer seemed a bit friskier than the norm. I can't say if the difference was due to the time of day or if some dancers just get away with more than others.
