There is anywhere from 1-4 girls...

There is anywhere from 1-4 girls on most nights. This place used to be really nice, busy, with respectable customers & dancers. However, over the past couple years it has went into a decline. Most of the veteran dancers, as well as the well-spending regulars, have left (and not for other clubs in most cases). It's a toss-up as to what you'll find on any given night. You can always be sure that you won't see bottom of the barrel girls as far as looks go. The bartender/manager does have standards when it comes to the girls she hires. The girls are still talented, and the bartender makes quality drinks at a great price. But even that can't save the place from being dead most nights. They still do table, lap, stage, and private dances, all at the same prices they always have. If you like a slow crowd, this is a decent place to go. If you like a busy club with more girls, you're better off heading to Albany. The place tends to play music of the hiphop variety, only really veering to other genres on request or when bands are drawing a crowd downstairs. Dancers are only on stage for 1 song, regardless of length; so it could be a really short song (under 3min), or a fairly long one. The only time dancers are ever topless are when they're on stage, so back when stage sets were a full 2 songs, it was well worth it for the amount of topless time. Now it's more of a bikini bar... one 3min (roughly) stage song, for which the girl is only topless for around 1min.

The place had tons of potential. It still looks nice on the inside (though the copper badly needs polishing). The other 2 bars in the building tend to bring in a crowd, though these days it doesn't appear that those patrons migrate up to copperheads. The club just never got promoted enough to keep the customers (and thus, dancers) flowing through the years. Eventually the novelty wore off for the locals, and people outside the area just don't know much about the place without legit word-of-mouth from friends. Most people base their lack of a visit on speculation, based on the area the club is located in; toothless, overweight, etc. The manager is typically really picky about who she hires, because she knows that the better the girls look, the better her chances of making money from getting customers in the door & hanging around.
