Went in for the first time...

Went in for the first time in months yesterday after being away on business most of the fall. Basically, Fantasies is a sports bar that happens to have naked women dancing on stage. The stage is sent behind the bar, with the seating all the way around the bar. Obviously, if you're sitting at the bar, you're going to be expected to tip -- there is seating at tables behind the bar if you're really low-rolling. The lap dance area is behind a partition in the back of the bar, but it's pretty low on privacy -- this isn't an extras sort of place. In theory there's a bouncer back there to enforce the rules, but for regulars and dancers he likes he can usually find something to distract his attention. No VIP worth the name. Pretty low pressure environment for LDs, even if you're not a regular. The line-up is on the website, and it's usually pretty accurate.

This particular trip things were pretty slow, which was OK since I wanted to just hang out. Approached by a couple of dancers who asked what had happened since I hadn't been around so much. Eventually one of my favorites came out of the back and we caught up for about half an hour. Once that was done, went back into the LD area for a couple of songs. The bouncer was happy to get lost and our hands could freely roam. Left after about 90 minutes of quality time ready to get back in the saddle.
